- Safari with the latest available service pack using the default security settings, on OS X 10.11 (El Capitan), running on a Mac that meets the operating system's minimum hardware/memory requirements
- A screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 or higher(2)

Notes:
(1) If your Internet Explorer security settings have been changed from the default, please ensure:
- Active X controls are enabled.
- JavaScript is enabled.
- Caching is enabled.
- Browser scripting is enabled.
Customized browsers may require additional configurations or may be incompatible.
(2) While functional at a resolution of 1024x768, Democracy Direct screens are best presented at resolutions of 1280 x 1024 or higher.
(3) The minimum connectivity requirements are as follows — An office LAN or standard DSL line capable of 728Kbs with a stable/direct/high-speed connection to the internet. Internet connections that are very slow or experience intermittent disruptions can result in issues (e.g. frame loss, images not downloaded, etc.). Certain internet connections, personal firewalls, or other desktop monitoring applications may require you to mark Democracy Direct as a "safe" site.
(4) To generate Management Reports within Democracy Direct, certain configurations or interim updates to Adobe Acrobat Reader may require additional configuration changes due to its interaction with Internet Explorer.
